Here is my original review and every word still stands true today: FPC The Woodlands office is expertly run from head to toe but its much more than that. For over three years now I've had a doctor that has continually followed up with me after my initial visit or if I was home sick and if I need to be referred to another specialist she will look into it and make an expert recommendation. Additionally, there's NEVER a wait and I have pretty much anytime access to my doctor or another specialist through their private app. The staff is always amazing and inviting too... It makes me curious as to why this works so well yet so unknown. Of course I'm OK with that because I dont want too many people crowding this improved healthcare system (just kidding).

My experiences with FPC have been the polar opposite of all the years' spent filling out changes to insurance forms (on every doctor's visit) - since the care provided to me through my employer is free (to me). Beyond that, Dr. Stasio makes it a point to respond quickly to me via the Spruce app, or to take her time to talk with me about my life when I meet with her in person for annual physical exams. I started with First Primary Care while working for a company a few years ago. I left the company and found out I could continue seeing Dr. Vo for a low monthly fee which was way cheaper than traditional insurance. I stayed with First Primary Care because my doctor kept up with me, she would message me when I was sick just to check on me and she encouraged me on a weekly basis throughout my weight loss journey. Dr. Vo listened to me, to my concerns, when I came across a new drug, she was open to my thoughts about it. Of course, she's the Dr. and she did all the research, and made sure I was a good candidate for the drug. Within a few days Dr. Vo got back with me, and we discussed the new treatment plan! This practice is by far the best because they care about their patients. I'm not just a number to them. I also like that I can message Dr. Vo 1 time a month or 20 times a month and the cost is still the same each month. If you're looking for a doctor who cares about you and knows you on a personal level, definitely give First Primary Care a try! I give them two thumbs up and 5 stars!

But not to worry with the Spruce App Dr. Vo is one text message away.The App is amazing as it allows you to ask questions, request meds for known issues and take care of communications with the Dr. from home rather than dragging yourself out if you feel lousy! All the Lab work and post visit care instructions remain on the App in case you want to go back and check something.Dr. Vo has the BEST "bedside manner" and a genuine concern for getting you to living your best life. She is more of a teammate in the game of life and she is an amazing cheerleader encouraging small changing while working toward a higher goal.First Primary Care is continually seeking the highest quality care and diagnostic options at the lowest cash prices for people like me who simply do not make enough to pay for outside insurance and whose employer does not offer company health care.Dr. Vo and her team are worth every penny of the monthly rate which includes as many visits in person or on the App as necessary at no additional charges. So far we have only had to pay a VERY low cost for a few Lab tests that are outside the normal yearly coverage of the plan. I have been able to get a needed surgery taken care of for my son all cash at a rates so low I thought it must have been a joke but the care was amazing and the rates actually got lower after the procedure was completed. I have had a sleep study done that was LONG overdue and have seen a cardiologist for some issues that also have been a good long while in the making. We used FPC plus for a few months while we were in between health insurances. We kept FPC even after going back on employee-sponsored healthcare because of the quality and convenience. One month for an adult is equal to two office copays on my traditional plan. For the FPC price, I have unlimited contact with the FPC doctor if needed. The model is genius.

This office is not disabled friendly. I went in last week for my first physical exam and was denied care for not wearing a mask due to my allergies and asthma. Without having EVER examined me or asking me about it, she sent the receptionist in to tell me she would not be seeing me and masks don't hurt asthma.However, if she'd done her duty instead of recklessly diagnosing me as "fine" she might have learned that on that particular day (and as I had been TRYING to tell the receptionist, however she was talking over me and as I'm partially deaf it was difficult to get much of a word in edgewise AND hear her) I was severely congested due to allergies and wheezing some from the asthma. I was actively having trouble breathing because of the swelling of my airways. I mean, I had worn a mask in her office the week before while escorting my husband (when the weather was more favorable) so it's not like I just wouldn't wear a mask. I did refuse hand sanitizer both times, but it has an aggressive odor and soap and water are equally effective. The CDC and the state of Texas allows that asthmatics may not be able to wear masks. You're supposed to contact your doctor if you get worse, right? So it's pretty shocking I was IN a doctor's office, waiting for my first full appointment with a supposedly "caring" doctor. According to the ADA they are supposed to provide REASONABLE accommodations. A reasonable accommodation would have been to come out to the waiting room (yes, I was already in the building, touching things and kind of breathing) and make sure it wasn't an emergency and then make me the last patient of the day. Instead, she diagnosed me, even though she's NEVER examined me nor laid eyes on me outside of a video call, and treated me as if I wasn't worth her time refusing to make ANY effort to "put patients first".This violated every claim from their website that made us sign up. On top of that, they have kept the money we've paid for the care we were supposed to receive. Beware: you're only going to be put first if they feel like it. In my case, she blamed it on her immunosuppressed patients. Both of us deserve better. It's not cool to try to pit one disabled group against another. You can treat both groups if you care about your patients.Edit: I rest my case. CDC guidelines do not have guidelines for active obstructed airways, probably because it's common sense to not impede the breathing of an asthmatic while it's happening. The guidelines you keep referring to are the ones I was obeying the week before when I was masked since I wasn't having ACTIVE airway blockage that day.

Never have I experienced healthcare done in a way where I felt more in control. A very affordable monthly payment covers a wide array of services and anything outside of that scope of work is a HUGE savings. My doctor is only a text message away and no question is off limits. No phone calls to make an appointment while put on hold. No waiting weeks to get an appointment. I don't even know why they have chairs in the waiting room since I've never had to use one. I am never rushed by my doctor or by the staff. They are patient and caring and they listen. When I found a scary lump, which turned out to be nothing, I wouldn't have made it through with my sanity without the care of Dr. Snodgrass. The direct primary care service was an extra service offered by my employer. I received an exceptional cares from Doctor and Nurses since the day I joined. Right on the morning of The 26 mid of Christmas 2020, my blood pressure was unexpectedly rising. I don’t have an existing BP problem, and the fast heartbeats extremely worried me. Out of blue I decided to use the app and texted the direct primary care in hope that I can talk to someone. Surprisingly 15 minutes later I received a call from Doctor. We talked and I was advised with treatments and received medication directly to nearby Walgreens next morning. Until today after 4 months I still regularly received follow ups from office. Thanks Primary care for great services.

I really love the fact that doctors take their time trying to understand any of your health issues. It’s not comparable to going to an actual doctor per say the hospital or other practices. Where they give you a quick visit they write you a prescription and your out the door within 15 mins.. with direct primary care you get up to an hour if not more time to really discuss the health issues at hand. I am a patient @ sugarland location and Highly recommended to anyone that wants real medical care. Tehemeena is fanatical!!

Dr. Goyal was their doctor and it has been a pleasant experience throughout! Dr. Goyal is very attentive and thorough with his patients and is not in a hurry which is what my parents really wanted! I was recently forced to change my Doctor of 11 years, as she was taking a leave and not sure when or if she could care for me again. So with so much at steak and not knowing how or what to do as I have no insurance. I am a mom and homemaker with 7 grown children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. I was fortunate enough to be able to care for my family and not worrying about working outside the home. But as a result of this I was left with little or no benefits as I got older. My oldest daughter, a beautiful mother of three herself, a professional working mom ,,joined what she described as a medical membership about a year earlier. I had no reason to look into it although it was a wonderful change in her health care and that of all her children. Shortly after that my youngest daughter a beautiful mother of 7 enrolled her family . They both seemed so relieved that with a single phone call they could get what they needed, help with the teenagers and stitches when needed, and always always a call right back. So another year passed and I was out of options for my own health care so I made the call and got to know and understand what my girls were talking about.. Dr Vo called me herself , something my old doctor did only for bad news. She was professional, and simply a delightful person. She gave me the choice of in person or online or for older people like me texting has worked great. She spent more than a hour with me on my first visit. Covering every issue I had and never once made me feel beneath her or talking down to me. She actually had new ideas about my treatment . Within a few weeks during the freeze I was bitten by a spider at least that's what I thought. Dr Vo looked at the picture called in what I needed to the pharmacy within a few hours and continue to check on me as the days went by. Fast forward to today. I had a prescription miss labeled and had taken the wrong dose for 5 days. As before she called me to see if I was doing better, that's when I realized that I was taking the wrong dose. If she had not been caring enough to call, I would still be taking the wrong dose. I know this is long, I never ever do these reviews but I want families out there to know that they a choice for better affordable careThat's it in a nut shell , they care, not about what insurance will cover they care about us. My family is living a better life today because Dr Vo and everyone who has helped along the way is there for us. Really there for us. Day or night for any reason. I hope that the message gets out to everyone who needs health care and can't get it. This may be for you. It's not insurance, it's a membership, and I have never been treated with so much respect and concern. I will never go back to the endless waits for appointment s or to get refills or be put on a pile with hundreds of other patients to wait my turn. Dr Snodgrass is a skilled practitioner who has taken a lot of time with my care and she has been so responsive to any questions or problems. She has taken time to research my condition and inquire with other practitioners if there are any tips in how to treat it. Every question has been answered. That day , more often within an hour. And the plan of care is discussed and agreed on by both of us.As a health care provider myself, I am so impressed with the practice. She and the staff go above and beyond. During this time of uncertainty with Covid it can be easy to get lost inside a practice and have real difficulty getting answers. That is the opposite of what you get with this practice.

However, my employer switched us over to a high-deductible HSA plan with a pretty low premium so, the budget was there and I figured it was worth a shot to see if truly personalized primary care still exists. I’ve been a member for a little over a year I think and have had nothing but amazing things to say about this clinic. It’s turned out to be a wonderful supplement to my health insurance and I will never go back to the insurance-driven model of healthcare.I thought I would never find another clinic with the quality of care received from my prior GP, who I have seen since childhood. One of the most difficult things to get used to when searching for a new primary care physician is how inaccessible most of them are. The direct care model that they use is truly game-changing. I realize all of the benefits that I enjoyed by staying with the same physician for over 20 years, but none of the consequences of visiting a clinic which is burdened by the bureaucracy of the health insurance industry.Rapid response times, exceptional quality AND affordable care, highly accessible staff who really take interest in their patients, the list goes on.. While the history isn’t there (yet), I am supremely confident in Dr. Snodgrass, Angie, and the rest of the team at FPC - The Woodlands. You can’t go wrong with anyone at First Primary Care. We have been members with First Primary Care since May 2019. From day one, the top notch service and responsiveness of the First Primary Care team has always been amazing, but our recent experiences has moved this service to PHENOMENAL!!!!My husband and I started to have symptoms of Covid-19 several weeks ago. We contacted First Primary Care over the weekend and began the process of evaluation and testing. On Monday morning First Primary Care tested us and we both tested positive.My husband symptoms were much more severe than mine. The advice, help, constant follow up on how we were feeling was daily from Dr. Goyal and his team. On the following Sunday morning at 5:30 AM my husband’s oxygen level went very low. I texted Dr. Goyal to ask what I should do and he called me within 5 minutes!!! Seriously, he called me on a Sunday morning within 5 minutes!!!! Dr. Goyal advised me to get my husband to the hospital, where he was admitted and spent the next 10 days.The good news is we are both progressing to full recovery.Without First Primary Care, Dr. Goyal and his entire team, I have no idea how we would have managed thru this ordeal. Having this membership is having piece of mind that a medical professional has your back, will respond to you and honestly cares about you, your health and family.Anyone remotely thinking of becoming a member of First Primary Care should stop thinking and just do it!
